We used to spend on on one time together often. Each week one child would have thier designated day, they would get to do special things (like get ice cream without anyone else, or pick out what movie we will watch)... But somewhere along the line we forgot about doing that. :(
As far as my hubby and I .....we meet up after work on Thursdays in our "secret spot" (which means local tavern) we eat greasy burgers, drink beers and play 80's music on the juke box...It's not classy or elegant...Old men tell horible jokes....but we feel totally young and in love! Then about 6 we get in our cars and head home and cook dinner, and the kids are none the wiser. :)

It really varies... Extended family - usually in a group and on weekends...never during the week... Sometimes one on one, but I really do prefer group setting :) Makes it easier and you tend to catch up with a bunch of relatives in one shot! :) Immediate family - both - during the week and on weekends :)
