  • I love the lights. The music. "Oh, Holy Night" gives me shivers. I love having my kids around me, especially now that they're older and this is not a given any more. I love shopping for people, I love wrapping. The food is not a biggie for me - though we all enjoy our Christmas Eve tradition of ordering in Chinese!

  • i love it all! i love the stores, i love the sales, but really i love all the family festivities and warmth and love and fun and and and i could go on forever... it's really one of the best mostly because people just seem to really get it that family and friends are important and it's ok to make them the top priority! (aka work, even though they dont like it, they go along with it!)

  • Family, friends, and food... I don't care so much about the presents, and trying to keep everything even and everyone satisfied can be a big stressor, but I love being together and sitting down to an enormous meal...

  • Family stuff. Tonight we made Hanukkah cookies with my daughter (well, regular cookies cut out with Hanukkah shapes), played some Hanukkah songs and then lit candles. It was wonderful! In a few weeks we'll be going shopping for a New Year's tree - Russian tradition, goes up for New Year's - and I love to see my daughter's eyes when she sees it in our living room.

  • I love being with family and friends. Especially at Christmas. It's nice to be with the ones you love and just enjoy one another.
