Most definitely online. Many online vendors offer great prices and free shipping during the holiday season. Why mess with the crowds?

I shop both online and in stores for holiday gifts. I am able to avoid crowds by finishing my holiday shopping before December 1st each year. Trust me...it is a SANITY. SAVER.
From year 2000 to year 2004 I did 100% of my holiday shopping online. Now that my kids are older, I do 50% online and the other half in the stores because buying jeans and shoes are tricky and I need to eyeball it in person to make sure it will fit. Other than that, I truly prefer to do online shopping.

Both. My husband gives me his Christmas list with links to everything that can be found online, and it's easiest to shop for him that way (and have the packages delivered to my office!). I'd say it's about half and half, depending on the year - I think this year I actually did less shopping online.

Both, it depends on what I am trying to get.. this year the boys wanted guitar hero.. rather than zipping around to many stores. we just ordered it online... I also use online to sent gifts to people who arent not local.. and I think it helps that I get many discounts from online retailers :)

I generally shop at the store. There's another house in my neighborhood that has basically the same address as me (imagine 123 E Main St vs 123 E Main Dr). And I know that UPS and FedEx have delivered stuff there instead of to me. The USPS is pretty good about mail going to the right place, but I still stress until I get it. And the last thing I need is MORE stress. That said, I did buy all of the Christmas presents for me off the internet just because I could get such good deals (yes, I buy my own presents). But all the presents for everyone else came from a store.

I did some of both. It is hard to drag my poor baby in and out of the car. I did a few things with her, but overall I did most of my shopping online. I also got free shipping which is great. With the cost of gas online shopping makes so much sense, especially if you can get free shipping.

I do both as well. Although I must admit there were some great on-line deals with free shipping. Me likey! I still had to get my butt to the mall to get gift certificates. I got great deals on eToys and Amazon. My mom cracks me up. The family pitched in and got her a diamond necklace from Zales and she was absolutely fascinated when we applied for a credit card and ordered the necklace on-line in like 15 minutes (she had already seen it and tried it on at the store). Maybe mom not having a computer is a GOOD thing!

both... I prefer doing as much as possible online.... however, some gifts are easier to buy in person, like shirts or jeans....

I try to do it mostly online, although of course, I am late on a few so have to brave the stores this weekend.
