Depends..........If I can get a weekend at the beach and no phones and I don't care if it good weather bad weather or any season! I'd go there in a heart beat. But on the the normal I'd say since buying a new home we stay home tell everyone we may head out of town and no one calls! Or I let the calls go to VM.

Wow. If I have a long holiday weekend, I would prefer to stay at home, and just come up with some things that we could do together as a family. Between school and extra-curricular activities, our week is usually pretty filled and we are always on the go. I don't believe that it's a good idea to keep kids constantly on the go. We like to take advantage of long weekends by playing games, doing arts & crafts, going for nature walks, or riding our bikes together. It is so much more relaxing, and we get that quality time at home with one another.
