  • Whichever of us gets to it first. This sometimes means that if it's something I really want to put together I'm not above hiding it until I get a chance to. He does the same. Sometimes I cave and let him do the work just to be nice and in the hopes that I'll get my feet rubbed in exchange for being a nice wife.

  • Mostly my hubby .... but I am proud to announce that it was ME who figured out how to assemble the pak-n-play (okay, not mechanical but nonetheless essential) on the day we came home from the hospital ... by reading the instructions. haha

  • My husband has fun doing these things, and he has a toolkit just for that purpose.

  • My huband loves to do this stuff, so I usually let him. . .it's half the fun of getting the kids toys for him. I usually get stuck putting together the preassembled cheap furniture that I buy. Now my 10 year old is getting into it too. He assembled his brother's Black & Decker work bench at Christmas 2 years ago.

  • lol well hubby gets first crack but generally when he cant get it i do it :) he likes the 'idea' that the 'daddy' shoudl be the one putting things together but i am much more mechanically minded. it works though, he is learning and i am learning to be patient!
