I try to walk after lunch for 30 minutes which helps with digestion. It would be ideal if I could exercise a few minutes before meals. This seems to help me calm down and not gulp my food. Then I try to squeak in a Yoga class on Sunday evenings when everythings winding down.
I take a yoga class at work on mondays for free and a middle eastern dance class on Saturday at the Y. Because they're both scheduled, there's very little "do I feel like working out today" bs. Plus, they're both fun and don't feel like work!
I work out 3-5 times a week, in the evening after I put my daughter to bed at 8. I just bought a treadmill and I am getting much more exercise (walking and running) than I did when I was a member of a gym. Having it right there is very helpful. Plus, I listen to audiobooks, so I am getting two things done at once.
When I had only one kid, i used to workout at my office gym and also do yoga classes. Now with 2 kids I find it hard to get time. I am constantly working around them either with chores, cooking, feeding ........ So i was feeling its not what I want, i have started to eat healthy and less , also I drink a mix of water, lemon and honey first thin in the morning which should help in burning off Fat. I have noticed I have reduced and my pre-pregnancy pants fit easily now. Give it a try it will hlep
Usually I work out 5-6 times a week but my elliptical broke last week so until I get the repair guy out here next week my routine is down to 3x a week. Usually I do 3 days of weight lifting and 2-3 days of cardio. During the week I am up at 5am to work-out.
none. when i was working at etrade, they had a gym in the building for employees and i worked out 3 times a week. it was easy for me then because i could get there at 6:30 work out then be upstairs for work by 8. my commute to get there by 6:30 was only 30 min. so i would leave at 6:00. if i didn't work out my morning commute could take as long as 1.5 hours so i'd have to leave at 6:30 anyway. i now leave at 7 in the morning and get home at about 6:30 at night then have dinner and help get the little one get ready for bed and that's about the end of my day! lol
Even though I never thought I'd be a "morning person", my best strategy is to work out sometime between 6am and 9am. I feel better when I finish my work out, and I also like being showered and dressed for the day by 7:30.
I work from a home office, so twice a week I take a 3-5 mile run at 6am before the kids have to get into the shower or get dressed for school; then twice a week I work out in my home gym after they are on the bus. I use a weight lifting DVD that has two 20-minute work out options, and a 10-minute ab workout. Very doable. In all cases, I meet a friend, otherwise the likelihood of me "showing up" is not too good!
Scheduling a yoga class one evening a week has worked in the past too. Remember, even twenty minutes is better than nothing!:)
Our office building has a gym, so I go there 2-3 times a week, during lunch time. It's the best break - and return feeling rejuvenated.
My son attends preschool two mornings a week, and I go to a small gym across the street. I take an aerobics class, then use a portable DVD player to do a yoga video (the aerobics room is free after the earlier class finishes). This works for me because I work from home in the afternoons and so my mornings are generally free.

I get up at 4am everyday to make sure I get a workout in. It is very early, but that's the only way I'd get it done. Afterwards I ALWAYS feel so much better and am ready for anything!
