Hello Ladies I am interested in starting a home based business..I have searched high and low to find the right business for me. I have tried to avoid dealing with sales but as it turns out whatever I choose will deal with sales in some form or fashion. Please help!!! I also need to know if anyone has information on home rebate processing? I am not sure where to find a legit company in this type of work. Thanks C

My name is Ms. Stansbury and I am in the health and wellness business.It only cost me $99.00 to get started. Plus I have several replicable websites and I also use the products continuously. They work great and are chemical free.

I joined a Global company based in Scottsdale Arizona a little while ago and because I am not a very good sales person, their MAP Program and/or Direct Response method appealed to me and has proven to make owning mine own busy simple. Let me explain. There is absolutely no cold calling, hard selling (unless you enjoy this sort of thing and just want to..."it's just not for me") or keeping of inventory.

Now about the MAP Program and Direct Response method: With this business, you can acquire returning customers direct from the company!. Business Affiliates can purchase returning customers that have already tried and like the quality products that this company produces in its own laboratories.

This is what I do to leverage my business, as I do not like bothering friends and family about purchasing products. You see, I admit to my shame, I was not endowed with the "gift of gab".

Any ways, many of these customers are not aware of the business opportunity that the company offers, but if and when they do become aware of it, via the company's many advertising methods such as television, radio, or web infomercials or print pieces or by you, some of your customers might transform from customer to Business Affiliate and join your network and you benefit ever greater!

The best part about this business Op you will enjoy generating for yourself now and in the years to come a residual income that will continue to thrive even after you stop working the business, and you won't have to sell the farm to achieve this.

I think you are right. Most online businesses are going to deal with sales in some form or fashion, this is only because to make money you have to swap money for something. With the rebate processing you will be swapping money for your time.

I know sales can seem intimidating, but you have to realize "selling" online is not like selling a used car. It's much more about advertising. Which can be totally fun. You advertise your products/service and then people contact you to find out more. There are a million ways to advertise online and when you find a company that has an excellent team they will help you out every step of the way to learn how to most effectively advertise your business.

One last thing. No matter what you are doing you are always selling. Because people don't REALLY buy a business/product they buy YOU. A study was done where they asked a bunch of people who went to a network marketing meeting to rank things in order of importance. The person who was presenting the information was one and whether the person felt they could be successful was number 2. Info about the company and products did not come in until number 5. It's all about you!!! So even if you have crappy products ~ which I don't suggest you align yourself with poor products ~ what it really comes down to is shining who YOU ARE clear calm and bright and people will be attracted to that.

Everything I have read about home rebate processors has pointed to it being a scam. Have you looked into either one of these? I am doing pretty good with them:

Most rebate processing "jobs" are scams -- be wary and thoroughly research these opps before submitting any personal information.

Here are my suggestions on finding a legitimate opportunity that's right for YOU:

- Set your financial goals -- Are you just looking for extra income or a potential full-time income? How long (and hard) are you willing to work to meet your goal?

- Determine if you are looking for a JOB or a BUSINESS -- there is a distinct difference between the two and you want to focus your energies appropriately for the best results.

- If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? If you are looking for a BUSINESS, go with your passions, things that interest and motivate you the most. Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses).

- Review your budget -- know ahead of time what you are willing and able to invest into your business, including start-up costs and ongoing maintenance and promotion.

- Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research. Check resources such as www.bbb.org, www.scam.com, and www.ripoffreport.com for potential scams.

I am involved in a business where the products are ECO-Safe for your household. They are Great. I have allergies and grandchildren and it was the best thing I did for my house. It knda works like buying a membershio to Sam's club and then yu can shop. But with this business you purchase the producst you need for your home that you would buy anyway in the grocery store and then spread the word. Not Hard the products speak for themselves. I would recommend tapping into what you are passionate about. Find a way to translate that into a business idea. You don't have to fall victim to a work at home scheme. If you can afford to, look into franchising.

Whatever you choose make sure it is something you enjoy doing and not just getting into it because you heard you can make a lot of money. Typically, those types of jobs are scams. You may want to try being a virtual assistant, working for a major company like the gap. or J Crew, taking orders. Or try mystery shopping.
