We
take
a
few
days
here
and
there
for
family
time,
but
we
haven't
had
a
big
vacation
since
2004.
We're
planning
one
this
summer:
Nova
Scotia,
to
research
Husband's
family
tree
and
enjoy
a
fancy
ferry
ride
from
Maine.

depends.
Before
we
had
our
daughter,
we
took
several
vacations
a
year,
both
on
our
own
and
together.
Now
that
we
have
our
daughter,
my
husband
continues
to
take
his
vacations
but
mine
have
come
to
a
screeching
halt.
This
is
partially
my
fault
because
Im
nervous
about
taking
her
on
an
airplane.
However,
we
plan
on
taking
a
vacation
together
in
may.
I
think
it
is
important
to
get
away
a
bit
and
clear
your
head.
It
makes
you
more
productive
and
less
burned
out.

I
take
almost
no
time
off
during
the
holidays!
I
can't
stand
the
holidays!
I
use
my
vacation
time
during
the
summer
visiting
the
North
Shore
(Lake
Superior)
and
taking
roadtrips
with
friends
and
family.
I
get
20
days
off
per
year
and
use
a
good
chunk
of
that
up
for
play
time!
