Do you have your in-laws (or any relatives) helping with childcare that are spoiling your children rotten, no matter how much you try to reverse it? Have you stopped talking to said relatives over this type of thing?

He stays in after-care at school for a little while, but we sometimes feel that all they do is run around like crazy instead of doing something productive. It has been very convenient for us to have him brought home at a certain time and we really appreciate it, but we have to draw the line somewhere on behavior and what we expect of him.

Maybe it is more an issue of (our family) realizing they we are parents and have every right to question what he is eating or doing over there (playing video games, etc.) I probably should have worded my question differently. :)
My family and my in-laws live too far away to help with childcare, so when they try to spoil our kids the damage is minimum. But I can see how it would be difficult to deal with if it was happening constantly. Do you have any other childcare options?
