daughter
isn't
born
yet,
but
I
talk
to
her
all
the
time
anyway
(actually
before
I
was
pregnant,
I
used
to
talk
to
myself
quite
a
bit,
so
I'm
thrilled
to
have
an
audience);
anyway,
I've
taken
to
calling
her
"Sugarplum"
and
I
have
a
feeling
it
will
stick
.

We
call
our
son
"Monster
love"
(ML)
because
he
demands
and
consumes
large
quantities
of
breast
milk,
much
like
we
imagine
a
monster
would.
And,
he
roars
like
one
when
the
milk
doesn't
come
quick
enough
or
in
sufficient
quantity.
ha
ha.
We
also
call
him
"turkey"
and
"munchkin"
and
"nu
nu"
(chinese
name
his
asian
grandparents
use).

I'm
not
very
original,
but
my
youngest
son
has
always
been
"bubba".
it
started
when
he
was
about
5
months
old.
He
weighed
about
20
pounds
(quite
large).
He's
now
9
years
old,
and
skinny
as
a
rail,
so
it
really
no
longer
fits
him,
but
it
has
stuck.
He'll
even
sign
his
cards
for
special
occasions..."Bub".
I
think
it's
here
to
stay
:-)
