A viable, tangible, credible product that people actually have a want or need for -- make sure a target market exists first and that the industry is not overly saturated.

good answer I like that, because I am the same way
Started both my businesses from the ground up...when I deal with/purchase from suppliers and distributors, I do not choose them just willy nilly- I take the time to research the products, get to know the suppliers and make sure we have a common ground. I choose only suppliers that meet certain standards- my standards.
