How wired are you? Are you someone who never goes a day without checking e-mail a hundred times and could never go out without a cell phone? ”

I'm all about staying in touch... I take my bbry everywhere!! I'm trying to get better at it and leave it at home every so often. My husband really gets annoyed when i'm checking my email while out with him.... so I'm "working" on getting better about abandoning my bbry :)

I always check my email before I leave the house and before I go to bed if I am not working that day. If there is a big project going on at work, I will check midday as well.
As far as cell phone, I ALWAYS have mine on me. The problem is battery power., it is always going dead on me.
I guess I am pretty wired, although never thought of it that way

I remember when I was a raft guide lving in Colorado (mid 90's). Swore I would never ever own a cell/computer, etc. Then a few years went by and I went into Information Technology....funny how things change. I use my computer for all of my work, so it is always up. If I forget my cell, it's not a big deal to me. I do not have a Blackberry and have no desire for one. I can't even remember to use my daily planner (which I just bought and is super cute) or the calendar located on the kitchen wall...I have lots of post it notes and notes scribbled everywhere, though.

I can go without if I'm out of the office, but my office culture is that emails are read within the hour and voicemails are listened to within a couple of hours. It kind of drives me crazy because it's hard to get work done (or read blogs, etc LOL) with Entourage popping up all the time.

I'm not all that big on the cell phone, but I do check my email as often as possible during the day -- and I have so many accounts -- work email, business email, "junk" email, and home email!

I check my email frequently if Im home but if Im not, its no big deal. I dont leave the house without my cell phone because I have a 7 mos old and a nanny so I need to be reachable. But prior to my child, i didnt care much about the cell phone because I liked the fact that I could not be reached. I love a little mystery when my husband comes home and asks me what I did all day!

I don't check my email a hundred times a day - but I do check it about 6 times through the work day. Since I work from a home office, I rely on email to communicate with my clients.

And yes, I never leave home without my cell phone. I like that my kids , who are all teens, can get a hold of me when they need to.

Unfortunately I'm an addict. I check my email very often. I can't live without my PDA. I'm about to go get a new Blackberry and get rid of my PDA. I do turn it off when I volunteer at school and between the hours of 6pm and 8:30pm while I'm with the kids before bed. But other then that I'm pretty much stuck to it.

i am addicted to connectivity!!! though when i am out and about with family (vacations, weekends) i will discconnect all day and then just check in at night... once in a while i take a break and it is GREAT! but then the pile up almost makes it not worth it LOL
