I just found out the store I am working at is closing in about a month. Before I try to find a job at another store, I would like to try to find something I can do at home. Does anyone have any ideas?”

  • Here are my suggestions on finding a legitimate opportunity that's right for YOU:

    - Set your financial goals -- Are you just looking for extra income or a potential full-time income? How long (and hard) are you willing to work to meet your goal?

    - Determine if you are looking for a JOB or a BUSINESS -- there is a distinct difference between the two and you want to focus your energies appropriately for the best results.

    - If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? If you are looking for a BUSINESS, go with your passions, things that interest and motivate you the most. Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses).

    - Review your budget -- know ahead of time what you are willing and able to invest into your business, including start-up costs and ongoing maintenance and promotion.

    - Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research. Check resources such as www.bbb.org, www.scam.com, and www.ripoffreport.com for potential scams.

  • I love candles. So I am a Gold Canyon Demonstrator. Set my own schedule, work when I feel like it and am home w/the kids everyday after school. Average $35-$45 an hour. Gone approx 3-4 hrs a night, 2-3 days a week. Relatively new company. New to the Mid-West area anyway. Based out of Arizona. Normally a start up of $175, but I got in in February when they had an offer to get your kit for free. They're doing it again in May, offer is a little different. $500 sales in 30 days = free sampler kit. Everything you need to get started. Check it out for yourself. Go to www.goldcanyon.com. Check out the catalog, check out the opportunity. Let me know if you're interested. I can help you get started. You can sign up on-line. Email me shorti118@sbcglobal.net

  • I have an idea for you. EBAY. You can start by organizing your home and selling your junk on ebay. Then go to your neighbors and sell their junk on ebay. Split the profit 50/50. Then you can open an ebay store and find specific products to always sell. The potential is great. (If you find this answer helpful, contact me for more information. I will gladly help you.)

  • Hmmm...I hate to answer a question with a question, but...what do you like to do? Do you have any hobbies that could be lucrative for you? Or, what about interests? My idea of the perfect job is doing something that I love, and learn to make money doing it. I've been pursuing that for many years now, and although I'm not totally where I want to be, - I have seen a constant increase in my income on a monthly basis.
