Two chihuahuas barking and trying to bite them!
I don't think I'd let anyone walk into my house right now... too messy!
I´m so glad that I´m not the only one with a disaster area for a house! If someone walked in right this second, they´d see a dirty floor, partially swept (hubby was too tired to finish), a pile of papers on the floor, a big bag of clothes to thrift or turn into baby stuff, a backpack that we use to get groceries laying on the floor, every available flat surface covered with odds and ends, crayons, scissors, colored popsicle sticks and bottles waiting to be washed. Oh, and my sewing machine set up beside the computer . . . which my husband hates to have in view. sigh.
A mess. Dustbunnies the size of golfballs.... 3 ft thick clothes on the floor in daughter's biohazard room and bathroom. Laundery and basket in laundry room, etc. Dishes soaking in sink.

I WISH I could have a perfect, clean enough to eat off the floor house.

I never will.

An ottoman full of papers, books, mail and little things that belong to Barbie or Polly Pocket. A heaping basket of laundry in need of folding. Board games, barbies, shoes, jackets, and 27,000 pieces of fabulous artwork courtesy of the resident 3 and 5 year old masterpiece makers. A dog snoozing on the couch, the cat contemplating it's latest attack on the dog, husband napping on the other couch not occupied by the dog. Kitchen island with my piles (bills, work, personal, school, to do, to file, to hang....)

haha what a fun question! I am with you - 2 hours and it's pottery barn in miniture (small house!) but at the moment the chair in the family room is holding random kid blankets and a package of toilet paper and there are a couple of toys on the ottoman, cat on the couch and (shockingly) a dog on the floor! The dinning room table is just full of all kinds of papers and 'stuff' (would totally be cleared off and stashed somewhere to 'go through later' were someone to walk in!!

Ok I will be the first to answer. I would love for people to see a page out of Country Living or Better Homes and Garden. However, what they really would see are juice cups all over the place, baby dolls, baby strollers, baby blankets, books, Barbie, Barbie, Barbie, Barbie shoes, Barbie clothes, movie cases, barretts, and pretty much anything pink and for little girls spread throughout my house like a spreading weed. Two dogs lying on couches ( where I would like to be), and my husband's catologs on ever table. However, if I knew you were coming over it would look like a page out of Country Living or Better Homes and Garden. I would just need about a 2 hour heads up and we would be good to go.
