Devil's Advocate

Do you use the telephone books from your telephone company provider that they leave on your front door? Silly question? Just wondering because today I received 3 huge ones and I never use them. I really only use the internet.

I HATE phone books...I don't like the feel or texture of the paper, how the phone book smells...how much room they take up!!! I use the internet ALWAYS to look up numbers or addresses. Yuck!!! Hate phone books. My ex-husband always had to have them around...maybe there's a reason to hate them too. LOL!!!
OMG! Those darned phonebooks! At my old apartment they would pile up in the lobby area and then maintenance would just throw them away. I had three in my apt at one time and I NEVER USED THEM! I wonder why they are still in print? They should be available on order basis only!
Long live the Internet! These books actually get on my nerves because they manage to fill in my garbage bags ...
I receive about 4 different provider's books. I don't know where they come from, or why I get them - it's now a running joke with my husband - "Thank GOD the new books are here. I was worried." Once I actually bring them inside (which may take a week or two), I chuck them in recycle. I do save one of the yellow pages and throw it in my car, thinking someday I may need it. I never have yet, but you never know - I might someday.

never - they sit in a corner or something until it's time to recycle. i like momof2lovelies idea to see if we can just stop getting them!! let us know if that works!

though i suppose they are handy just incase you dont have internet for whatever reason!? (i dont even want to think about that!)
It got me thinking "green" and I will see if I can call the phone company to take my name off the list. I was just wondering if I was alone. Good to see I am not.
Never. We did use them for a while for our daughter to sit on at the table, but now she is tall enough so even that isn't useful:)
