I've heard that I'm intimdating way too many times and mostly from men! What is it about a working, successful, determined woman that makes men, er... shake in their boots?!?!

Frankly, I'm surprised it's the younger guys that have a hard time with it and not the older ones. There's still some of the old "double standard" people around, i.e., men are assertive, women are agressive, that kind of BS. My mother used to always say that you can be confident, smart, and know your stuff, yet act like a lady, not a B**ch, and still let them know you won't be walked on, then it's THEIR problem, not yours, that they can't handle it. Just remember, the dinosaurs died out cause they couldn't adapt.

In a word: CHANGE.
