What do you do when you hit a brick wall with your spouse. When you cann't agree.

It depends on the issue. If it`s something that is important to one of us (like whether or not to get a new stereo) then sometimes a compromise is in order. For example, your hubby wants the stereo . . . you think the money could be better spent elsewhere, but you let him get it with the condition that you get to buy a dishwasher when there is extra cash again. Otherwise, like Melissa S. said, agree to disagree! It`s a lot easier and better for your relationship than hashing the problem out over and over again.
You agree to disagree. Just because you are married, does not mean you have to agree on EVERYTHING. You have to compromise on the things that affect your daily living, but it's OK to disagree on other things and move on. After all, who wants to be married to someone who agrees with everything you do? That would be pretty boring.
