  • Hi SKL... McCain slings alot of mud...not a good style...glad you approve of his style. The other people
you talked about their not currently running for President. And their stories are all out in the open. I'm glad you feel he is such an upstanding guy. Too bad he has to try to build himself up by trying to spread rumors about his opponent. He get his followers so riled up that he was booed today when he tried to get calmed down. (on Yahoo today) So spreading hate is a good thing in your opinion? I never thought
so. But to each his own. Oh...The last election I didn't vote for Bush. You did? But it would be nice to
have a President this time that we can feel that he is for all the people of the United States..not just
    the rich.

  • Unlike his opponent, John McCain has stated that he has made mistakes and regrets them. He has stated that the worst failure of his life was the failure of his first marriage. It's not a big secret. He has also had a lot of time since then to learn from his mistakes. Bringing up a candidate's long-past human mistakes is an age-old tactic, for sure, but I'm not sure how relevant it is to today. And it's not as if he's the only divorced guy on the planet. Would you vote for Edwards if he'd won the nomination? His indiscretions are pretty recent, and he only came clean about them this year. And his wife is battling a deadly disease. I hope you are much more upset at Edwards for daring to run than you are upset with McCain. Oh, and by the way, everyone knew about Gennifer Flowers before Clinton's first term and about Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky before the second one - both were recent / ongoing and were just the tip of the iceberg - yet that didn't seem to lose him many votes. I hope you didn't vote for Clinton if you are this upset about McCain.
