7am wake up kids - while they are eating I shower, get dressed, dry my hair(takes the longest), skincare, teeth all about 30 min.
7:30 - kids pactice piano and finish getting ready for departure to school at 7:55
Drive kids to school - home by 8:05 make coffee and toss in a load of laundry, take vitamins and drink a protien shake.
Walk to my office (I am also very thankful to work from home so no commute ) My husband has been working out of town most weekdays so no help from him.
Start work at 8:10
Doing a workout in the morning sets up my entire day to be great!

In between 5:45 and 7:45? I take an hour of me-time: reading, facial cleansing, maybe even a pedicure. I answer emails. I might write a blog post. Sometimes I go for a walk.
I don't: make my kids' lunches (they've made their own since they were nine); get my family out of bed (it's their responsibility to get themselves to where they're going; they take the consequences if they don't); make breakfast (everyone makes their own, according to their own timetable).
I do: sit with my kids when they eat, and chat about their days. Kiss my husband goodbye! I work from home, so my clients come to me. No commute, for which I am very grateful.
The short story? My personal prep. time takes 15 minutes. (I shower in the afternoons, not the morning. We have only the one bathroom, and I don't want to wake people up as early as I wake, nor plug up an already busy room at prime time.)
