Thank you a bunch for your responses!! However, I am actually a Branch Manager for Adecco Employment Services. I sell our temp, temp to hire and direct hire services to different companies. I am curious to see if anyone knows if there are businesses that might need our services? :)
I know that retail stores, the postal service and UPS offer seasonal employment around the holidays. Also, my Mom works for a college campus bookstore and they sometimes use temps during the times when they do most of their book sales (at the beginning for a semester). College campuses in general may be a good place to look for temp work, because they have such a high volume of work to do before students arrive....and there are always temp agencies.
we use temps, but mostly from our in house temp pool. we are a huge company so it's easier to pull from a bunch of people that already know the company and the culture than bring someone from outside for a short job - the ramp up time is just too long!
