This is a weird random question but I really need help on it right away. I have an acquaintance from high school (friends wiht a good friend of mine but I didn't know her too well) and she is coming to my area for the Superbowl. She asked if I wanted to go to dinner with her one night and I said sure. She is staying at her aunt's house and asked me to come and pick her up and drop her off after dinner. The problem is that her aunt lives in a VERY bad part of town. My boss knows the area and said that he would not even go there at night, although he has during the day to sell houses. I don't want to offend her or her aunt (and i'm sure she has no clue about the area) but I am not driving to that area at night. Any ideas on how to explain this to her?”

  • That's a hard question, but would probably be easiest just to make an excuse why you couldn't go with her at night...but offer we could do a brunch if you'd like to. Or if you really want to explain it too her...just be honest....she would probably laugh as she grew up in the area...but know how people feel about it. Let me know how it goes. Hugs.
