Last year my daughter and I went rising in central Anatolia (in Turkey). We rode for four hours, We galloped though wheat fields, visited a 12th century caravan serai, climbed up and over hills to the valley with the fairy chimneys (do a Google Search on `Cappadochia`) It was exhilerating and one of the best days of my life. Almost up there with climbling to 18000 feet in the Himalayas.
