I wish I could say we were, but as our daughter's school has cost $15,000 a year for the last 12 years saving has been impossible. Plus we live in a country that until recently had 120% inflation-- no one saves. As soon as anyone gets money, they plough it into real estate or something else that will appreciate along with inflation. There were no mortgages until a a few years ago-- everyone bought houses/cars/everything with cash. If our daughter does not qualify for an academic scholarship (she is a very dedicated student) we will probably have to sell off some real estate to pay for it ourselves.
