Thank you all so much. It is a relief to know that its alright. Been tormenting myself for a while with that concern.
I am thankful that he doesn't have any allergy and I seriously hope this phase will be over soon. He have now progress from eating boiled eggs for breakfast only to eating it with his other main course during lunch and dinner.
It should be just fine. Just be prepared for him to hate eggs after a while. They totally go through phases like that . . .only eggs for a week and then they only want carrots. :P As long as you haven´t had any problems with allergies, you can give him the whole egg, I´d think.
My children love scrambled eggs with lots of cheese. I don't remember that being an issue when they were learning to eat solids but double check with your dr. The one thing I remember you CAN'T give them before they are 1 was honey.
As long as there is no egg allergies, I would say it would be fine. Just know that it is protein, but the child should get calcium, fluids and vitamins. I would also say to double check with your pediatrician, but my son started eating eggs earlier than that, and he likes it. You also have to take into account that toddlers will like something a lot, and then not eat it at all. I would say variety is better, but I don't see anything wrong with it.
