Ha ha ha ha haaaaa....um, no. Oh, how I wish I could. But I have to keep my 11-month-old on her schedule of getting up at 6:00 so she's on schedule for the work week.
I wish later than usual! Our son wakes up at 6am no matter what. We try to take turns letting each other sleep in late but it usually doesn't work. Somehow we both end up waking up early. Especially me. If the baby doesn't wake me up, the dogs do.
LOL I now have teens that sleep later then me. The problem is I have a dog that wakes me every morning at the same time. She just doesn't understand that it's the weekend so I'm pretty much awake the same time every day. I let my husband sleep in since he gets up 5 days a week before me. I'm either a good wife or just crazy since it's his hunting dog (family dog first) that gets me up.
Unfortunately, our son wakes up close to the same time as during the week. We tell him not to leave his room (apart from bathroom trips, of course) until at least 7:30 am. But we often hear him stirring before then, so we can't even get continuous sleep until that hour. Yeah, I know, I know: before long, we'll be bemoaning the fact that he sleeps until noon. LOL - Paula.
Our son has been sleeping about an extra hour on weekends lately, which has been really nice! Not sure how he knows that it is the weekend, but I'm not going to jinx it by overthinking it!!
lucky for us, our son seems to have the same internal clock as we do and graciously sleeps about an extra hour on the weekends when we arent moving around early to stir him from sleep :) once in a great while we get 2 hours!
