What's something that you've cut down on, in terms of spending, and you don't miss at all?”

  • Formula, after-school care for my son, YMCA membership, eating out. It's all worth it to not have to go back to work full-time!

  • Much of my driving.

If you asked me several months ago, I'd say diapers.

  • I cut down on spending on a live-in nanny. I don't miss it one bit. I don't have anyone living with me. I don't have anyone eating my food, wasting my food but cooking too much, taking up my third bedroom. I moved my office from basement back to the bedroom upstairs which is so much more convenient, because I am closer to the kids when I am working in the evening. Yes, sometimes if I have to leave my kids with someone in the evening I have to look for childcare, but the employees of daycare are available and if not, then it's my mom or mother-in-law or brother-in-law. Somehow it works out.

  • Buying lunch at the office. Some days,it's more convenient, sure, but I feel the same way you do, Nataly... every time I bring my own I feel like I'm depositing money into my account!

  • Starbucks lattes. Haven't had one in over a month and have learned to make my own. Every time I make one I feel like I am depositing money into our account:)
