I don't pick my friends based on their beliefs, or values, or anything like that. The only thing I need in friends are people who are ambitious and focused. Otherwise, I know I'll get dragged down.
DebR...I agree with you...I don't like to walk on eggshells around people...and don't feel you should have to.I was raised back east and you could more that likely say have a strong personality also. Either Love me or Hate me...but I don't kiss anybody's a_ _. I do have a strong set of values...I can't stand when people lie...and most of the time I know or figure it out...so best not to in the first place. And I Love people with a sense of humor....it makes life so much happier. Hugs

If they keep hanging around, I know they can take it and that they like me for who I am.

Meaning do you look for someone who is honest, kind, laughs alot? Those are some of the things I look for- I like people that think alot the way I do. Who are considerate of others. What do you look for in a friend?
