When getting ready for dinner, you are sometimes stuck finding a recipe for your picky eaters. We have 5 kid-friendly recipes that the whole family will enjoy eating. We start off with these classic chicken fingers. You don’t have to worry about cutting their meat and they love that they don’t have to use utensils!
- 4 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 5 cups vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups instant potato flakes
Cut the chicken into quarter strips. Remove the tenderloin. Mix the chicken strips, milk, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and garlic in a large bowl. Sit for 30 minutes. Drain and dispose marinade.
In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Mix flour and salt on a large plate. Beat eggs in a medium bowl. Lay out potato flakes on plate. Coat mixture on chicken. Fry about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Use paper towels to drain.
