Tips for safe summer fun
Picnic properly
The FDA recommends packing two coolers, one that can be opened frequently for beverages, and one that stays shut to keep perishables fresh longer. Other tips: avoid cross contamination of raw meats and cooked foods when camping or cooking outdoors, scrub your produce, and don't "partially cook" foods to reduce grilling time unless you're going to put them on the grill immediately.
